808 tons of drugs found in Iran in a year

808 tons of narcotics was found in Iran last year (starting on March 21, 2017) and the relevant dealers were introduced to the judicial authorities, said commander of Iranian Anti-Narcotics Police on Tuesday.

'The discoveries increased 14% compared to the previous year,' said Brigadier-General Mohammad-Masoud Zahedian.
Zahedian said, '75% of the mentioned amount was discovered in the eastern borders of the country.'
He said that the World Arrogance tries to expand cultivation of narcotics to strengthen terrorists and insecurity.
He also said that in the fight against drug traffickers, 106 dealers were arrested, 16 military and security forces were killed, and 48 people were injured.
