

Vienna, March 15, IRNA – Interior Minister said that Tehran and Moscow are having good cooperation on fighting drug trafficking.
'Iran-Russia relations in the campaign against drug trafficking is very good at regional and international levels,' Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli who is also secretary-general of anti-drug trafficking headquarters said after meeting Director of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Ivanov in Vienna on Monday.
'The big drug trafficking networks and laboratories for production of heroin in Afghanistan can be destroyed with the help of Russia.
Ivanov, for his part, pointed to the vast cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation in the region and the world, particularly in the field of campaign against narcotic drugs trafficking and their police, and called for further expansion of cooperation in such fields.
