"" Thursday 25 July 2015: Minister of Interior and Secretary General of the Drug Control Headquarter, DR. RAHMANI FAZLI in a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, MR. LEVAN DZHAGARYAN, expressed concern over the increasing trend of cultivation and production of opium in Afghanistan which ignites transnational organized crime, extremism and terrorism in the region and beyond. In this regard, he called international community to take into consideration the topic of alternative livelihood, as of top priorities on alternative development in Afghanistan.
DR. RAHMANI FAZLI emphasized on further promotion of bilateral ties beyond the current situation through expansion of greater exchange of intelligence information, conducting controlled delivery operation as well as co-operation against money laundering."
