

Dushanbe, June 7, IRNA- Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Saturday night that Iran and Tajikistan are determined to upgrade current level of bilateral cooperation based on an agreement signed by the two sides.
He made the remarks at the end of his official three-day visit to Tajikistan.
Speaking to reporters, he said the agreement signed about six months ago in Dushanbe and is going through its legal procedures before being ratified by the Iranian Majlis.
Based on the Mou, the two countries are to broaden cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, border cooperation, training of police forces and making use of each other's experiences and information, he said.
Iran and Tajikistan are to broaden cooperation in security and disciplinary sectors, he underlined.
Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan with common language should broaden cooperation, Fazili said.
