

Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahdi Sanaei said Monday that Iran has joined the quadrilateral campaign against narcotic drugs.
Iranian Minister of Interior Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli who is in Russia has voiced Tehran's readiness to join the campaign, Sanaei wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
The four-member coalition consists of Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
Sanaei said that the next meeting of the four countries which have become five with the addition of Iran will be held in Iran.
The Iranian ambassador also said that signing a 3-year agreement by Iran and Russia to fight drug trafficking during the visit to Moscow by the Iranian interior minister was an important event.
