Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said Monday that Iran has initiated investigation with Pakistani officials on the fate of five kidnapped Iranian borderguards and another delegation is due to visit Pakistan today for further talks in this regard.
Rahmani Fazli said that unfortunately Afghanistan and Pakistan fail to control their borders and the terrorist groups and drug traffickers move easily and commit crimes.
“We have asked the Pakistani government to seriously investigate the case. Otherwise, necessary measures will be taken in this regard,” he said.
Five Iranian borderguards were kidnapped on borderline with Pakistan eastern Iran and then brought to Pakistani soil by Jeish al-Adl terrorist group.
