Abu Dhabi, UAE, April 15, IRNA – Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said on Monday that Iranian and UAE offials are determined to further promote mutual cooperation.
In a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister for Presidential Affairs, Mansour bin Zayed Al-e Nahyan, he underlined the need to strengthen bilateral relationships.
Referring to the two countriesˈ commonalities, he said that Tehran-Abu Dhabi ties are strategic and improving.
Najjar also noted that regional security is a general concept and it should be established in cooperation with all regional states.
Noting that the aliens can do nothing for regional security and stability, he said, development and progress is contingent upon security.
Najjar also said that development of security cooperation, fighting drug trafficking, organized crimes and kidnapping were among the topics discussed during the meeting.
The interior minister also said that during the meeting it was also agreed that disputes, if any, should be solved through talks.
Najjara arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday on a three-day visit.
