Tehran, March 13, IRNA – Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar called on the United Nations to further support Iranˈs anti-narcotics activities.
Mohammad Najjar, who is also Secretary General of Iran Drug Control Headquarters, made the remarks in a meeting with Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yury Fedotov.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ongoing 56th session of Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, Austria, from March 11 to 15.
Fedotov, too, appreciated Iranˈs active presence in anti-drug area.
